Local "Lactivist" Backs Breastfeeding Babies
Local self-proclaimed "lactivist" Elizabeth Jeffryes shares the plight of modern women who struggle with breastfeeding in public. While she doesn't believe it is much of an issue in the Roaring Fork Valley, people are pretty accepting here, she highlights that is IS an issue for so many women across the US. To help promote awareness and support for those moms, she blogs about breastfeeding in public and is the coordinator for Garfield County's Big Latch On event, part of a global effort.
